Hunterz respects your privacy and processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Belgian privacy legislation.

2. What data do we collect?

• Account data: name, email address, language, date of birth (optional), gender (optional).
• Hunting group data: member and guest names, hunt days, locations, harvest data you enter yourself.
• Payment data: billing name and subscription data. Payments are processed by Mollie B.V. — we do not store full card details.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, session data, crash logs.
• Location data: only with your explicit consent in the mobile app.

3. Why do we process your data?

• Providing and improving the Hunterz service (contractual necessity).
• Managing subscriptions and payments (contractual necessity).
• Sending transactional emails (invitations, confirmations).
• Resolving technical issues and preventing fraud (legitimate interest).
• Complying with legal obligations (accounting retention requirements, etc.).

We never sell your data to third parties and do not use it for profiling or third-party advertising.

4. Retention periods

• Account data: while your account is active, plus 12 months after a deletion request. Billing data: 7 years (legal obligation).
• Hunting group data: while the group is active. After cancellation: 30 days, then permanently deleted.
• Log files: maximum 90 days.

5. Recipients of your data

• Mollie B.V. (payment processor) — mollie.com/privacy
• Hosting provider — servers in the EU (Belgium/Netherlands).
• Apple / Google — when using the mobile app (push notifications).

6. Your rights

• Access, rectification and erasure — via Settings in the app or by emailing contact@hunterz.eighty1.be.
• Objection — you may object to processing based on legitimate interest.
• Complaint — with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (GBA).

7. Cookies

Hunterz uses only strictly necessary session cookies. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies are used.

8. Security

We secure your data using HTTPS/TLS encryption, hashed passwords (bcrypt), role-based access control, and regular secure backups.

9. Changes

For significant changes, we will notify you by email or via a notification in the application. The date at the top of this document always indicates the most recent version.
